? The Lede: The lede is the setoff paragraph (or graph) of an article. This is your opportunity to grab your audienceâ€"so employ it. A scene setter, or a vivid explanation of a scene that describes your
topic, is a great carriage to acquit your readers and get their attention. As youre reporting describe what you gibe (weather, noises, street scenes, etc.) and use it as your opener remember to manage notes while you are actually there, reporting. Another great selection is using the dramatic moment in your story (the cease of a protest, a re-enactment of a crime, or a exposition of an event) to draw readers in.

Remember, a diversity of voices is important, save too many quotes can become confusing and twist your piece.
