In the first study, the surgical implantation of microdialysis probe operation was performed on 142 rats with 10% of which deceased during or shortly following surgery before all data can be attained. Of the rats that endured the surgical implantation, a nonher 10% were considered not meet for the study due to the incorrect position of the probes.
