Scholarship

My name is Amber Burrough. I call back that I am deserving of this Roy Martin/ Myrl McCormick Scholarship because I put forth a masses of effort into everything that I do. I do my topper in any and everything. When I set stopping points for myself, I do everything in my power to achieve them and if I happen to glide by short of my goal then I pride myself in knowing that I did my best. My goals in life are often extremely high. One of my goals is to run low an accountant PhD. I cipher that the drive I commit to succeed is one, of many, reasons why I deserve this scholarship.
A second reason why I believe I am worthy of this scholarship is that the life story path I direct chosen takes a lot of time and money. I want to become an accountant PhD, and it allow be tough for me to obtain this goal without the help of scholarships. College in itself is expensive, plus the extra time that it will take to become accountant with a PhD, will add up to a great amount. However, I am determined to achieve this goal no matter how big it might take. I select dreamed of becoming an accountant with a PhD, too long to fall short of this goal in life.
I observe I deserve this scholarship because I sport participated in many extracurricular activities in high school. I have been a member of the basketball and softball teams for four years.



During this time, I have been an Ambassador for two years, representing my class of two-thousand and twelve. I was the death chair of my Junior Class and now I am the Vice- chairperson of my Senior Class. I was Student of the Month for Feburary 2012. I believe that my participation in these activities show my strength in be a leader and well organized. I smack that the winner of this scholarship should radiate these characteristics.
The fourth reason I feel that I am deserving of this scholarship is because I have been a part of many volunteer activities. I have volunteered my time for my school, where I went and decorated the doors and rooms for the elderly at nursing homes.
