Contrasting Macbeth and King Lear

If your school syllabus entails studying the great works by Shakespeare, then you should not be shocked when one in a while you are asked to write an essay contrasting Macbeth and King Lear.

One of the things that the two kings share in common is their arrogance. Macbeth is arrogant when it comes to his destiny and that is why he allowed fortune tellers and witches to fuel his arrogance. It appears as though he would never have become king had he not allowed their prophesies to get into his head.

Meanwhile, King Lear displayed a lot of arrogance when it came to his daughters, in particular, Cordelia. The two elder daughters of King Lear seemed to fuel this arrogance of their father so as to serve their own needs but Cordelia saw and noticed that her two sisters were misleading him,.

King Lear finally realized this fact and that Cordelia had already forgiven him for his arrogance. Eventually King Lear came to understand his daughter. Above is a brief sample of how an essay comparing the two charters could be written.

The above essay was written for demonstration purposes and it is neither a sample of an essay that has already been sold to someone nor is it a sample of an essay that is intended to be sold to someone.

This is because the company believes that each one of the customers should get a unique copy of whatever essay they pay for and no copy of any client’s essay should be seen by someone else without express permission of the client that already purchased the paper.
