Back in the Day

I believed that my pargonnts loved me enough to wipe up me, when I challenged their authority, and award me when I did as I was told and did well. A good education, being respectful, and always doing the right thing were my pargonnts top goals for us, which explains why they were very strict on my siblings and I. I have to admit, I didnt fully escort then, but I am a firm beli invariably now that if you spare the rod, you will spoil the child. This is how we were brought up then, and facilitate today, neither of my siblings nor I, are in jail nor have ever been for committing any crime. When or maybe the better question is why did parents stop disciplining their children? What ever happened to some of the golden rules of raising children?



Rules like children should be seen and not heard? and of course, speak only when you are spoken to? Did society do away with this type of partisan because the children today are liberated and now have a voice and demand to be heard? Times have truly changed from when I was a child, and young adult, the only spoken language I knew was Yes Sir and Yes Mame.
