1974- Hassan defends emeer from Assef, after Assef threatens Amir for affiliating with a Hazara, an lacking(p) race.

1975- Following Amirs conquest in the kite fighting competition, Hassan is being threatened by Assef and his friends, in the bazaar alleyway, before Amir miraculously shows up and tries to defend Hassan.

1976- Baba throws Amir and Hassan a huge birthday party and invites the whole town.

1981- The Soviet Russians invade Afghanistan, where Baba, Amir, Hassan and Ali are hale to leave Afghanistan and find refuge in neighbouring Peshawar,Pakistan.
There was not enough food for 10 people to survive for 5 days, on the way to Peshawar, Pakistan. Suddenly, Ali feels very weak and ill because he isnt go throughting enough nourishment in his body, so he decides to tell Amir,Baba and Hassan, he can not go on.
Ali dies, on their journey to Peshawar, Pakistan.
1982/1983- Amir, Baba, and Hassan fly to San Francisco, America.
1983- Amir graduates from high school and Hassan continues with his ESL face classes and receiving tutoring from Amir.
1984- Amir enters in his first year of collage, where he meets Soraya, in his first year philosophy class. Later, Amir falls in love with Soraya, save for a while, Amir feels that Soraya is hiding something from him.
Baba is diagnosed with crab louse from his persistent smoking habit.
1985/86- Amir finds out from Baba, Soraya was married but got divorced, back in Afghanistan. Soraya told Amir the full story round the situation between her and her ex-husband and realized she loved Amir.
Amir and Soraya get married.
