Before the general use of the internet and heavy dependency on the favorite social networking programs and websites that came with it, I was growing up in a small townsfolk on the picturesque Mid north Coast of New S go forthh Wales. Being a town with a population of just over 3,000 people (despite the signal at the entrance to the town claiming a population of 7000) we were a little behind the times as far as technology was concerned. (I remember it being a pretty life-sized deal when one of the businesses in town had automatic glide glass doors installed).
 It always felt to me like we were missing out big time. Looking back now though, I soak up we werent. Put simply, for me life without the technology available today was to a greater extent enjoyable and carefree. Im not discounting the significant benefits and public utility company of todays technology and particularly the internet and social networking platforms, how forever in my experiences the tools designed with the sole purpose of circumstances us stay connected to each other are those that are in fact dividing and disconnecting us much than ever before.
For example, it is now considered common practice to communicate via email with colleagues in the same office as you as the preferred utility(a) to having a face to face conversation.
I have detect that it is becoming more and more conventional (particularly amongst my generation) to share brief, school and repetitive conversation on a networking website such as Facebook than to catch up in person for a more stimulating and genuine conversation.
I assert communication in the flesh is a much more personalised and honorable form of social interaction (however ancient it may be considered) and still remains superior to other means.
