Stretch Reflex and the Autonomic uneasy System

The open inborn reflex is the bodys answer to a quick musculus stretch. The speed at which the stretch occurs go give away stimulate receptors located within skeletal go across called muscle spindle fibers. If the stretch is slow, these receptors ar not stimulated. The muscle spindle plays an active role in the stretch reflex. The stretch reflex is an involuntary response (contraction) to external stimuli that stretch the muscle. When the spindle is stretched it sends out a signal to the spinal cord, which in turn sends a signal back to the muscle causing it to contract. The strength of the response of the muscle spindle is determined by the rate of stretch. This nitty-gritty the greater and more quickly a load is utilize to the muscle, the more forceful the muscular contraction will be.
Muscles and tendons are quickly stretched creating and then storing elastic energy. Immediately following the stretch, a concentric muscle contraction releases the stored energy. This is considered to be resultant from a series elastic component (SEC) which causes the muscle to act same(p) a stretched spring wanting to return to its original length.
